Team Building Events in York
The York Challenge
York is one of Britain's finest heritage cities. The York Challenge is a fantastic way to see this city, with its ginnells, snickelways and historic narrow streets, it cries out to be explored on foot. The Vikings gave York its current name, deriving it from Jorvik. Today, you can see an amazing amount of history, from the 12th Century Minster, through to the bars and the gateways of the city. The rivers Ouse and Foss meet in York and provide a stunning backdrop for the city, and a great view if you sneak in a quick pint in one of the city's old pubs along the riverbank. York has successfully managed to mix the history of its buildings and streets with a modern atmosphere to create an ideal venue for the York Challenge.
